Hi, friend! I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Sarah Gilbert, founder and owner of SG Events, LLC. When people ask me how I got into doing weddings I always tell them - I didn’t find this industry, it found me! As every young girl does, I always dreamed of my wedding day but never imaged I would get the opportunity to be a part of so many beautiful weddings and turn it into a career.

After my own wedding in 2021, I was recruited by some friends to coordinate their weddings and it continued to grow from there. In May of 2024, I was offered a job working for a local wedding venue which further helped ignite my passion for weddings and sharpen my skills. I have spent the last 3 years learning and growing in all things “wedding” and created my brand, SG Events, LLC, officially in February of 2025.

I have met so many amazing people and built incredible vendor relationships in this industry along the way. I feel so blessed every day to be trusted with someone’s “best day ever” and that is not something I take lightly.

I am a graduate of Bauxite High School (2016) and the University of Central Arkansas (2020) where I earned my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). I was in marching band all throughout high school and college. On Saturdays before I planned weddings, you could find me toting a 50lb sousaphone down Bruce St. in Conway, AR cheering on the UCA Bears!

Today, I am a single mother of two incredible children, Roman (6) & Eliana (2) who are my purpose in all that I do. They remind me daily of what is most important and to not take life too serious. They bring me so much joy and inspire me to always find a reason to laugh.

My weekdays are spent with my kids at the nearest park, splash pad, indoor play facility, trampoline park - you name it - and on weekends you’ll find me at a wedding venue somewhere, busy working behind the scenes to execute someone’s dream wedding day! If you’re looking for me outside of that, I’m probably sitting in the 7Brew drive thru.

Beyond weddings, my hobbies include graphic design, drawing and painting, cooking, listening to music, sitting on my porch swing, and shopping at TJ Maxx or Hobby Lobby.
